Jomaru Korean Hot Pot

If you’re a fan of Gamja Tang, you HAVE to check this place out!

Unlike other places where the soup can be overly spicy or leave a tarty aftertaste from excessive red pepper powder, Jomaru’s Gamja Tang is refreshingly clean and well-balanced. It has that deep, savory richness without being overwhelmingly spicy, making it enjoyable for everyone. And the pork? OMG. No weird smell, just fall-off-the-bone tenderness. Even my little one devoured an entire bowl, including the broth! 😍

And let’s talk about the fried rice at the end… it’s a MUST. I got mine with cheese, and they do NOT hold back! They torch the cheese right at your table, making it all gooey, smoky, and irresistibly delicious. Trust me, you’ll regret skipping this!

For the perfect pairing? Go for Jipyeon Makgeolli – a 100-year-old legacy in a bottle! Made from Korean rice, it’s nutty, smooth, and only 5% ABV, making it super easy to drink. Seriously, if you love trying authentic Korean drinks, this one’s a game-changer.

감자탕 좋아하는 분들, 여긴 꼭 가야 합니다!

보통 감자탕집 국물은 고춧가루 맛이 강해서 텁텁한 경우가 많지만, 조마루 감자탕은 완전 깔끔했어요! 뭔가 고소한 맛이 나면서도 (사실 전 매운 음식을 더 선호하는 편인데도) 맵지 않고 개운한 뒷맛이 특징!

그리고 고기 상태가 미쳤어요. 냄새 하나도 없고, 젓가락만 대도 부드럽게 쭉쭉 찢어지는 텍스처. 심지어 입이 엄청 짧은 저희 딸도 맵지도 않고 하니 국물까지 싹싹 먹을 정도로 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었어요!

볶음밥도 무조건 필수! 치즈 추가했는데 완전 1도 아끼지 않으세요 ㅋㅋ 토치로 겉을 살짝 그을려서 고소함 + 불맛까지 완벽한 조화. 볶음밥 역시 맵지 않아서 아이들도 한입 먹고 나면 숟가락 멈출 수 없음!

마지막으로 술 좋아하시는 분들은 꼭 지편 막걸리랑 같이 드셔보세요! 알콜 도수도 낫고 특유의 쓴맛도 없어서 부담없이 즐기기 좋더라구요 ㅋㅋㅋ

전 개인적으로 다른 유명한 감자탕집들 보다 더 맛있게 먹은것 같아용!
