If you’ve been in the know about Korean desserts, chances are you’ve already heard of Cafe Knotted—the iconic dessert café that opened in Seoul in 2017 and quickly gained a cult following for its impossibly fluffy, not-too-sweet cream-filled donuts.
Now bringing their signature joy to Los Angeles, Cafe Knotted isn’t just about donuts.
Hidden Gems on the Menu
Yes, the donuts are the stars—but let’s talk about what really caught my attention during my latest visit:
Cookies: Mexican Hot Chocolate ($4) & Chocolate Chip ($3.50)
Both cookies had that ideal texture: crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The Mexican hot chocolate cookie? A game changer. Rich, deep chocolate flavor with just a hint of spice—so indulgent without being overly sweet. You’ll find yourself reaching for another bite without hesitation. The chocolate chip was also solid (moist and classic!), but the Mexican hot chocolate one stole the show for me.
Strawberry Cup with Cream Top ($13)
This one is dangerously good. Imagine layers of sweet and tangy strawberries, topped with not only velvety milky cream but also a luxurious matcha cream. The cream never overpowers the fruit—there’s a perfect balance between richness and freshness. I devoured the whole thing in one sitting. No regrets!
Coffee With a Purpose
Cafe Knotted uses beans from Stereoscope Coffee, a well-loved local roaster, so their drinks—from lattes to their Cream Top matcha—are just as thoughtfully made as their desserts.
Whether you’re already a fan of their donuts or trying them for the first time, don’t sleep on the other menu items. From cookies to strawberries & cream—you deserve a treat.

노티드 도넛은 다 알죠? 근데 이건 먹어봤나요?
한국 디저트 좋아하는 분들이라면 이미 들어봤을 카페 노티드(Cafe Knotted)! 2017년 서울에서 첫 매장을 오픈한 이후, 폭신하고 달지 않은 수제 도넛으로 엄청난 인기를 얻었죠.
이제는 그 행복을 LA까지 퍼뜨리러 왔답니다 =)
놓치기 아까운 메뉴들
물론 도넛도 최고지만… 이번 방문에서 진짜 인상 깊었던 건 따로 있었어요!
쿠키: 멕시칸 핫초코 ($4) & 초코칩 ($3.50)
겉은 바삭, 속은 촉촉—이게 진짜 완벽한 쿠키 식감이죠. 특히 멕시칸 핫초코 쿠키, 진짜 반했어요. 진한 초콜릿 풍미에 은은한 향신료가 살짝 느껴지는데, 너무 달지 않아서 계속 손이 가요. 초코칩 쿠키도 괜찮았지만 제 픽은 단연 핫초코!
딸기 크림컵 ($13)
이건 진짜 너무 맛있어서 한 번에 다 먹어버렸어요! 신선한 딸기에 우유크림 + 말차크림까지 더해져서 크림의 부드러움과 딸기의 상큼함이 찰떡궁합! 달콤하지만 전혀 물리지 않는 조합이에요.
스테레오스코프 커피 사용
카페 노티드는 LA에서 사랑받는 Stereoscope Coffee의 원두를 사용해요. 그래서 커피와 크림탑 말차 같은 음료도 디저트 못지않게 정성 가득.
