Sweetgreen x COTE KBBQ Steak Plate is here!
Sweetgreen, the fast-casual salad chain known for its fresh, seasonal ingredients, is launching a limited-time Korean BBQ-inspired menu in collaboration with COTE Korean Steakhouse, the only Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse in the U.S. The new menu will be available nationwide starting May 13, 2025, with early access on May 12 for SG Rewards members via the Sweetgreen app or online ordering.
🥩 What’s on the Menu?
The collaboration introduces three new entrees that blend Sweetgreen’s fresh ingredients with the bold flavors of Korean barbecue:
KBBQ Steak Bowl: Grass-fed steak glazed with a savory-sweet Korean BBQ sauce, served over romaine lettuce and white rice, accompanied by apple kimchi sauce, spicy roasted broccoli, cucumber kimchi, and pickled cabbage.
KBBQ Steak Plate: A heartier option featuring the same KBBQ steak, white rice, cucumber kimchi, and pickled cabbage, ideal for a bold lunch or comforting dinner.
Cucumber Kimchi Crunch Salad: A vegetarian-friendly salad with roasted sweet potato, romaine and spring mix, spicy broccoli, cucumber kimchi, apple kimchi sauce, pickled cabbage, and crispy onions, all drizzled with KBBQ glaze .

🥗 Sweetgreen’s Presence in Koreatown
Sweetgreen previously operated a location in Los Angeles’ Koreatown, specifically in the historic Chapman Plaza at 3465 W 6th St. While that location has since closed, Sweetgreen continues to serve the Los Angeles area through its other locations.
