Tried Superjection for the First Time in LA – Lavender Skincare @ Reset Laser Clinic

If you’re even a little into Korean beauty, you’ve probably heard of Superjection—a skin treatment that’s been making waves in Korea for its amazing glow-boosting and skin-rejuvenating effects.
While it’s already super popular in Korea, it’s still pretty rare to find in LA.

So imagine how thrilled I was to discover that Lavender Skincare, located inside Reset Laser Clinic, offers this treatment right here in LA! 

What is Superjection?

Think of it as a step above the typical water glow injections (mesotherapy). The name comes from “Super” + “Injection”, and it delivers skin-repairing and hydrating ingredients deeper and more evenly into your skin—with minimal pain.

There are three ampoule options used in Superjection treatments, all preservative-free and sterilized for maximum safety and effectiveness.

Superjection Blue

• Step 1: Sodium Hyaluronate (high molecular hyaluronic acid, 1 million Da)
• Step 2: PDRN
• Mixed together before application
• Ideal for: wrinkle reduction, capillary support, and pore tightening

Superjection Black (the one I used!)

• Step 1: Exoroid (live exosomes freeze-dried at -70°C)
• Step 2: Activator
• Mixed right before application
• Great for: cell regeneration and collagen production

Superjection Retina-Roid

• Step 1: Vitamin A derivative (Retina-Roid)
• Step 2: ActiveX (water-soluble peptides)
• Helps inhibit melanin production to prevent pigmentation and dark spots

My Treatment Experience

1. Started with a double cleansing to remove all makeup & impurities
2. Gentle exfoliation to prep the skin
3. Superjection using Korean-imported serums (PDRN + hydration blend)
4. Layered regenerative cream to soothe and calm the skin
5. Finished with sunscreen to protect and seal it all in!

Honest Thoughts

• Only felt minimal discomfort—just a faint tingling
• My skin felt noticeably smoother and dewier right after
• For the first two days (the day of and the next day), I skipped makeup and only used a moisturizer, recovery cream, and a gentle sunscreen. By that night, the redness had completely calmed down! The next day, my makeup applied so much better, and my skin stayed hydrated all day without any tightness. 
• The ambiance and technique at Lavender Skincare were top-tier; I felt pampered and safe throughout the session

Downtime & Aftercare Experience

Unlike many other injection-based treatments, Superjection has little to no downtime, which was a huge plus for me. Right after the session, I had some minor redness (luckily, no bruises for me!), but it completely disappeared within 24 hours (by the next night). Even with my bit sensitive skin, I had zero irritation or breakouts. In fact, my skin looked calmer and more even-toned the next day! However, they warn you that downtime and aftercare experience can vary case by case. The results are said to last around one month, but with proper aftercare, I definitely feel like it could last even longer!
